Holiday RV Superstores Inc., the Florida-based dealership chain that does business as Recreation USA, has secured $44.5 million in floorplan financing from the Bank of America (BOA) Specialty Group. The BOA financing raises Recreation USA’s floorplan credit limit up to $80 million. Workers and executives at Carriage Inc., Millersburg, Ind., have been unusually busy the last few weeks because of strong order volume during the company’s dealer meeting in Indianapolis in late July, according to Peter Recchio, director of sales and marketing. Order volume during the meeting was three-times greater than the company had ever experienced, Recchio said. Most RV company stocks posted marginal gains Tuesday, off-setting the marginal losses they incurred Monday. Meanwhile, the broader market was mixed with the Nasdaq composite gaining 12 points, or 0.3%, while the Dow Jones Industries Average declined 38 points, or 0.3%, on Tuesday. Morgan Keegan Lowers Monaco EPS Estimate

Investment firm Morgan Keegan & Co. lowered its earnings per share estimates for Monaco Coach Corp. for 2000 and 2001, but it continues to recommend that investors buy Monaco stock. Morgan Keegan now believes Monaco will earn $2.47 a share this year and $2.78 a share in 2001. Most RV company stocks closed higher on what was a quiet day for the broader stock market. The Nasdaq composite declined 11 points. Or 0.3%, and the Dow Jones Industries Average climbed 10 points, or 0.1%, on Friday. One RV firm having an exceptionally good Friday was National RV, which gained 3/4, or 8%, to close at 10 1/8.
