Gulf Stream Coach Inc. plans to give away a Class A motorhome and a travel trailer in a contest that is intended to attract more viewers to its Web site and dealerships, according to Brian Shea, president.

The contest was launched last week during the Florida RV Supershow in Tampa.

Information about the contest is found on the www.winrv.com Web site, which is hot-linked to Gulf Stream’s site, www.gulfstreamcoach.com.

Interested persons can register for the contest online on the Gulf Stream site, or they can print the registration form off of the Gulf Stream site and mail it in.

Entries must be received by Nov. 9 and the drawing will be conducted Nov. 10.

The grand prize is a 2001 Ultra 8240 Class A with a retail value of round $46,000. Second prize is a 2001 Ameri-Lite 21MB travel trailer worth about $12,000. Third prize is a big screen TV worth about $2,000.

The prizes will be awarded during this year’s RV industry national trade show in Louisville on Nov. 27.

Shea said one of the purposes for the contest is to get RV enthusiasts into the habit of visiting Gulf Stream’s Web site. Gulf Stream dealers should see more lot traffic as a result of the contest without having to increase the size of their inventories, he added.
