Barth Revival Called-Off

The effort to revive the Barth brand of highline Class A motorhomes has been called-off.
Keith Leatherman, owner of an Albion, Ind.-based commercial building company that bears his name, planned to begin producing Barth brand units on a build-to-order basis earlier this year.
However, Leatherman canceled the project due to a lack of orders.
Leatherman’s original plan was to build the distinctive aluminum-skin units on gas or diesel engine chassis in the 30- to 40-foot length range. All were to come with galley slideouts and they were to retail for $179,000 to $340,000.
