Nasdaq Soars, Most RV Shares Gain

The Nasdaq composite climbed 41 points, or 2%, on Monday as investors bet that the economy is starting to show strength, which would signal an upturn in information technology company profits.

Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which had a strong week last week, lost 75 points, or 0.7%, on Monday.

Among RV company stocks, Thor turned in the biggest gain Monday. Its stock climbed $1.20, or 5%, to close at $23.30.

Here is a roundup of the other RV company stock activity Monday:

Fleetwood gained 60 cents to close at $12.94

Winnebago gained 25 cents to close at $18.25

Coachmen gained 32 cents to close at $10.02

Monaco declined 13 cents to close at $19.35

National RV gained 40 cents to close at $8.70

Skyline declined 76 cents to close at $25.90

SMC declined 2 cents to close at $3.08

Holiday RV Superstores gained 9 cents to close at $3.59

Rexhall gained 5 cents to close at $5.00

Kit was unchanged at $3.21

Coast Distribution was unchanged at 62 cents

Featherlite declined 10 cents to close at $1.75

Spartan Motors gained 37 cents to close at $3.90

Starcraft gained 23 cents to close at $1.35
