RVIA to Track Hybrid Trailers

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) will begin reporting separate shipment statistics for hybrid travel trailers in its monthly Market Report beginning in January. Hybrid trailers have gained a substantial share of the travel trailer market since debuting in the late 1990s. National RV and Skyline joined the list of RV manufacturers whose stock prices hit new 52-week highs today (June 29). Meanwhile, Coachmen, Monaco, Thor and Winnebago established new 52-week highs for the third day in a row. Monaco and Winnebago ended the second quarter on exceptionally upbeat notes. The owners of Emerald Coast RV Center, a four-location dealership group with two stores in Florida and two in Alabama, and Village RV, a California dealership with $45 million in anual sales, have decided not to sell their companies to the Recreation USA dealership roll-up firm. The four RV manufacturers whose stock prices hit new 52-week highs on Wednesday (June 27) saw their stocks reach new 52-week highs again today (June 28). Posting the biggest gain today was Thor.
