John Mancinelli has left the Camping World aftermarket accessories store chain, where he was vice president of development, to join Holiday Holdings LLC, the alliance of RV dealerships formed earlier this year by Stephen Adams, non-executive chairman of Affinity Group Inc. (AGI). Recreational park trailer manufacturer Dutch Park Homes Inc., Goshen, Ind., has been personally acquired by Syracuse, Ind., businessman Omer Kropf, president of Supreme Corp., a publicly held commercial vehicle manufacturer also based in Goshen. Class A Wholesale Market Robust in October

The wholesale market for Class A motorhomes expanded at a torrid 7.9% rate during October and travel trailer shipments also increased at a robust 5.7% rate during the month, according to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA). A total of 4,100 Class A’s were shipped from factories to dealers during October, compared with 3,800 units delivered a year earlier. Holiday Holdings LLC, the nationwide alliance of RV dealerships formed earlier this year, will acquire Sirpilla RV Supercenter of Akron, Ohio, in January, according to Holiday Holdings President Marcus Lemonis. Drew Industries Inc., parent of RV industry supplier firms Lippert Components and Kinro, announced Monday (Nov. 24) that it will move its stock to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) which, along with a broad-based stock market rally, resulted in Drew’s shares closing at a new 52-week high Monday. The assumption that high profile investor Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. would make more acquisitions in the manufactured housing industry was well-founded because Oakwood Homes Corp. announced today (Nov. 25) it will sell its operations and non-cash assets to Clayton Homes Inc., which Berkshire purchased earlier this year.
