Marketing information firm J.D. Power and Associates has decided to contact RVers directly to establish consumer satisfaction ratings instead of working through RV industry associations to confidentially gauge consumer sentiment. After a hiatus of three years from the RV business, J.D. Power will use six consumer-oriented, RV-specific websites to recruit “J.D. TriMas Buys Bargman

TriMas Corp. announced today (Jan. 30) that it has acquired Theodore Bargman Co., a leading supplier of lighting products, electrical accessories, access doors, locks and latches for the RV market. Financial terms were not disclosed. Winnebago Changes Dividend Dates

Winnebago Industries Inc. has pushed back by 10 days the key dates for its quarterly cash dividend payment, the New York Stock Exchange-lised company recently announced. The motorhome manufacturer now plans to pay a dividend on April 15 to shareholders of record as of March 15. Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary Keystone RV Co. only recently completed a new assembly plant in Goshen, Ind., and the company is planning more growth in northern Indiana, according to President Ron Fenech. Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. reports its RV sales revenue increased 32% during the third quarter of its fiscal year 2004, which ended last Sunday (Jan. 25).
