Newmar Corp., Nappanee, Ind., has relaunched its top-end London Aire diesel pusher motorhome after a six-year absence from the marketplace. Built on a 54,000-pound GVWR Spartan K3 chassis, the $800,000 luxury class coach is loaded with high-end amenities, including full body paint, granite floors and countertops, glazed cabinets, pneumatic pocket doors, dual-jet shower heads, hidden heat vents, silent motion drawer glides, and security cameras that turn on when the doorbell rings. And if that’s not enough, one button automatically dims the lights, closes the blinds and drops a 30-inch TV out of the ceiling for movie viewing. “Everything is pretty much standard on the London Aire,” said Kyle McCrary, director of high-end motorized product. The 2007 London Aire, which debuted at the 43rd Annual National RV Show in Louisville, Ky., is available in five 45-foot floorplans – each with four slideouts – powered by a 600-hp Cummins ISX diesel engine.
