Spartan Motors Inc. reported record performance in its second quarter with a 28.8% year-over-year increase in revenues and a 59.8% rise in earnings despite “challenges” in several of its core markets, including recreational vehicle. Monaco Board Implements Executive Pay Cut

Coburg, Ore.-based Monaco Coach Corp., which last week said it was shuttering three production sites in Indiana and cutting 1,400 jobs, is also slashing executive compensation. A Medford, N.Y., company that bills itself as Long Island’s top RV dealership is being sued for more than $10 million by two national finance companies that claim the retailer sold vehicles but failed to pass along more than $3 million in payments to the lenders. Ford Motor Co. posted the worst quarterly performance in its history today (July 24), losing $8.67 billion in the second quarter.
