Escapees Club Sees Demand for ‘RVers Boot Camp’

The Escapees RV Club is sponsoring a second “RVers Boot Camp” this month after the original one was sold out and a long waiting list developed.
The Boot Camp scheduled for Nov. 6-8 in Livingston, Texas, quickly filled to capacity with a waiting list of over 50 students, according to a recent Escapees newsletter. Due to this overwhelming response, a second session is now being offered on Nov. 13-15 at the same location.
The Boot Camp is a series of seminars that teach critical RVing skills in a fast-paced and fun environment by industry experts. The 30,000-member club has been sponsoring the Boot Camps since 2002. The program has grown from an annual event to one that will be held three or four times a year at sites scattered across the U.S.
The program includes training in:
- RV maintenance and operation.
- Hitch-up.
- Tire and weight safety.
- Fire and life safety.
- Basic RV systems.
The next Escapees Boot Camp takes place in mid-January in Quartzsite, Ariz. Details will be posted at www.escapees.com/bootcamp and announced through upcoming Club News bulletins and the Escapees magazine.
The Livingston-based Escapees RV Club offers its members a state-of-the-art website dedicated to informing members about club events, parks, activities, products, and services; a magazine loaded with articles and information written by RVers for RVers; a mail receiving and forwarding service; an extensive network of parks and affiliate parks offering discounted parking and home-base options; and CARE – the only adult day care program designed by RVers to meet the needs of RVers.

its always good to take that type of training before starting an activity. because by attending these club seminars one get to know a lot of informative things. Especially its good for the beginners who want to develop the rv camping as a hobby or a passion.
