Newmar To Unveil New Mountain Aire Motorhome
Newmar Corp. has redesigned its Mountain Aire diesel pusher motorhome and the product will make its first appearance at the National RV Trade Show Dec. 1-3 in Louisville, Ky.
“This new Mountain Aire is going to redefine luxury motorhomes,” said Kyle McCrary, Newmar director of luxury products. “We’ve taken a Newmar legend, redesigned it and set it apart from the competition by combining elegant styling with luxury features at an exceptional price.”
The 2011 Mountain Aire is built on the Spartan Mountain Master chassis powered by a 425-hp Cummins ISL engine and is equipped with Comfort Drive Steering System. Exterior features include new front and rear caps with an integrated spoiler, Girard integrated power side awnings and a super clear coat Full-Paint Masterpiece finish with DigiShield. A one-piece fiberglass roof, chrome trim package and frameless, double-pane windows complete the exterior look of the coach.
Inside features include a living area coffered ceiling with halogen lighting, polished porcelain flooring, hardwood cabinets with fully overlaid residential cabinet doors with concealed hinges, and polished Mystera countertops.
The 2011 Mountain Aire also features the all-new NewPlex multiplex wiring system. This system allows a user to control lights, ceiling fans and window shades from multiple locations throughout the coach. This new system also features timed cockpit ceiling lights upon the entry door opening and with the release of the parking brake.
The 2011 Mountain is available in six floorplans with lengths of 40 feet with a 34,600-pound GVWR and 43 feet with a 46,000-pound GVWR. MSRPs start at $406,695.
