Duracell (big)With virtually every system in an RV and tow vehicle powered by electrical current, dependable 12-volt batteries are paramount to enjoying the lifestyle. Duracell has introduced a trio of batteries to meet the emerging needs of consumers. Duracell AGM with Extreme Power uses absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology — micro-fiber glass mats absorb the acid to prevent spilling or leakage — to deliver twice the durability, dependability and long-lasting performance to withstand the demands of multiple loads, while Duracell EHP Advanced Generation batteries are designed to safeguard against damaging hot and cold temperatures. But some of the harshest conditions occur with marine or RV use, which is why Duracell’s Marine & RV batteries provide extra protection against vibration. These units also employ AGM technology. These new batteries are being introduced through Duracell’s business alliance with East Penn Manufacturing Co. Inc., the world’s largest and most modern single-site, independent battery maker.
