The 53rd Colorado RV, Sports, Boat and Travel Show revs into gear Thursday (March 4) at the National Western Complex, according to the Denver Daily News.
The four-day event features Colorado’s largest display of RVs, boats, outdoor products, vacation spots and travel tips. The show expects to bring in more than 40,000 visitors.
“We have a lot of features,” said Dianne Seymour, the show organizer. “There’s something for everybody here.”
According to Seymour, sales for smaller and mid-size RVs have recently been on the rise. For one, they are considered a second home and are eligible for a tax break. Also, owning an RV opens up limitless vacation possibilities, making spending money on hotel rooms a thing of the past.
And if things get really rough down the road and it becomes necessary to sell the main home, there’s always a portable home waiting for RV owners.
“Most of these have more than one bedroom, TVs, microwaves, and a fireplace,” said Seymour. “It’s not exactly roughing it.”
Along with displaying RVs and boats, the show features a wide range of seminars on everything from learning how to cook while camping to bass fishing techniques.
The show is sponsored by AGI Events, a division of Affinity group Inc., parent company of WWW.RVBUSINESS.com.
