AL-KO Kober Corp. has announced the opening off its West Coast facility.
The new production facility is located just outside of La Grande , Ore., at 64423 Airport Road. Work on the facility began in the summer of 2009, with full light-trailer axle production recently implemented, according to a press release.
The new facility allows AL-KO to provide 15 new manufacturing jobs to the local community and continue operations from the recently discontinued California location. The new location continues AL-KO’s drive to provide service to its customers throughout the United States.
“AL-KO is proud that some experienced employees transferred to the Oregon plant, and that 15 new manufacturing jobs were created in the local community while supporting established and new business in the West,” the company stated.
