Scott Chaney, owner of Compact Camping Concepts LLC in Salem, Ore., has announced the release of his new and unique tent-topped camping trailer.
This Explorer Box weighs 350 to 400 and can be towed by most smaller, fuel-efficient vehicles. His design is original, cost effective and energy-efficient offered as a “do-it-yourself” project or ready made, according to a news release.
“The Explorer Box is innovative not only for its weight, but for its efficiency of design. With a tent unit, it is easily set up and with its storage, will carry whatever a camper needs for the next adventure. There is no need to unpack the box when setting up the tent — so within minutes shelter and a soft bed are available,” according to the release.
