Go RVing Ads Reach Major League Baseball
This spring, Go RVing is pitching RVs to fans of America’s Pastime with its new “Ambassadors of Affordability” ads airing on local broadcasts of Major League Baseball games, according to a news release.
A media buy with Fox Sports Net allowed Go RVing to secure ad spots on local broadcasts of games played by all 30 MLB teams. Over the first two weeks of the baseball season, eight 30-second Go RVing commercials will run with each team – for a total of 232 spots over 14 days.
Additionally, a customized Go RVing video message will appear on the on-screen scoreboard during each telecast, maximizing RV coverage.
Beginning April 19, Go RVing ads will also appear on a variety of Fox Sports Net programming including Final Score, Sport Science and weekly home team Insider and Access shows for a total of 405 additional 30-second spots.
Go RVing is bolstering its baseball ad blitz by taking advantage of opportunities to reach online audiences on the popular MLB.com. This season, Go RVing will have the opportunity to send customized RV content to MLB.com subscribers with an electronic newsletter co-branded with Major League Baseball. In addition, starting this month, MLB.com will promote Go RVing’s Family Road Trip Sweepstakes. One lucky family will win an RV road trip across the country, visiting three ballparks and blogging about their travels. Editorial and video content about the road trip will be featured weekly on MLB.com and all 30 MLB team sites.
