Woodalls.com, one of the leading websites in the RV and camping industry, is now offering campgrounds and RV parks a new way to connect with RVers and family campers via Facebook and Twitter.
Each year, millions of camping enthusiasts search woodalls.com to find the perfect RV park or campground. With the rising popularity of social media Woodall’s is launching an exciting new program to connect its website customers to a campground’s own Facebook or Twitter page. From the park’s website listing, Woodall’s will link RVers and family campers directly to its Facebook and Twitter page, according to a news release.
“More and more campgrounds are embracing social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter as a way to connect with their customers,” said Ann Emerson, vice president and publisher for Woodall’s, “and since Woodall’s has always been in the business of connecting campgrounds with campers and RVers, we are excited to use social media to enhance how we do that.”
By sending Woodall website users directly to the park’s Facebook and Twitter pages, consumers can connect both with the campground and with other camping enthusiasts who are fans or followers of that campground too.
“When we evaluate our consumers’ behavior, we find that the more engaged a person is with you, the more valuable he or she is as a customer,” explained Emerson. “This new program allows us to send our best customers to a campground’s Facebook and Twitter pages where they can interact with them. It’s another way Woodall’s can deliver a very targeted market.”
