For the 13th consecutive year, Home and Garden Television Network (HGTV) is planning a one-hour special on RV innovations and product trends. “RV 2011″ is scheduled to air next March and will re-air several times throughout the year. Chi-Lan Lieu — a self-proclaimed karaoke addict and gadget geek — will be hostess of the show.

HGTV is planning to shoot at the Pennsylvania RV and Camping Show in Hershey from Sept. 14-19 and is seeking press information and product literature for new RV models that will be on display, the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) reported. The network is particularly interested in the latest industry innovations and cutting-edge RV features and would like to receive materials as soon as possible.

All materials should be sent via mail or e-mail, to senior producer, Bart Makatche, at the following address:

Bart Makatche, senior producer, Nancy Glass Productions, 211 Rock Hill Road, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004;  (610) 668-1668; bart@nancyglassproductions.com.

For more information, contact Fran Connors at RVIA’s PR agency, Barton Gilanelli & Associates, (215) 592-8601 or fran@bartgil.com<mailto:fran@bartgil.com>.

Why does HGTV wait 6 months till (March 2011) to show the latest RV innovations & trends from September 2010? Why not show on the air immediately and all fall/winter several times when TV viewership is at its highest and RV Sales are at their lowest. Great show just need to broadcast it sooner and more often!

Yeah!!! My husband and I will be at the 2011 RV show. We learned about the show by watching the HGTV RV2010 show. We are hoping to find the perfect motor coach to buy so when we retire in a couple of years, we can tour the country and see every historic site/national park/festival there is in the U.S. Got the bug by watching the RV2010 show and have been surfing the web on the different types of Class A’s ever since. Can’t wait to physically see them and actually walk thru them.

I wish they would show more of the gadgets for the Rv. The RV Show that comes to the DC Area is never showing that many gadgets for the RV. I want to find how to be able to store more in an RV. I will in about 6 yrs live in my RV for 6 8 months of the year. And my 31 Ft does not have a lot of storage in it.

HAVE BEEN TO THE HERSHEY SHOW TWICE BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH TO SEE AND LEARN FROM THE MANY SESSIONS. PITTSBURGH IS DOING THEIR RV SHOW BEGINNING THIS WEEKEND. WE HAVE BEEN THERE TWICE. THIS IS OUR YEAR TO PURCHASE AFTER EXTENSIVE READING AND LEARNING ABOUT FULL TIMING. WISH THESE SHOWS CARRIED THE GADGETS BUT ALSO BOOKS FROM THE RV STORE. THEY NEVER HAVE ANY REPRESENTATIVES OR BOOKS TO PURCHASE/ORDER THERE. WOODALLS AND TRAILER LIFE HAVE TELEPHONE SIZE BOOKS WITH EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT CAMPGROUNDS. CONTACT THE RV STORE.COM AND ASK THEM TO BRING SOME READING MATERIALS.
