Cruiser RV has announced the promotion of Jay Mohamed to vice president of sales and marketing.
Since joining the Howe, Ind.-based company in the spring of 2009, Mohamed has held the position of regional sales manager for the central U.S. territory, according to a news release.
“We are very confident in Jay’s ability and are pleased to promote him to this new position. We have an aggressive growth outlook for 2011 and this move fits into that strategy,” said Jeff Fought, Cruiser RV executive vice president.
With this change also comes realignment in company sales territories. Mohamed will now handle the Northeast territory along with his management position, while Chris Daniels, who joined the company in late 2009, will move into the Central U.S. territory.
Cruiser RV manufactures towable RVs. In operation since 1988, the company is an industry leader in ultra-lightweight travel trailers. Cruiser RV is a sister company to high-end luxury fifth-wheel manufacturer DRV Luxury Suites.
