Fleetwood RV Inc. launched its 2011 Jamboree DSL and Tioga DSL Class C diesel motorhome lines, built on the fuel-efficient Mercedes-Benz chassis, during the 48th Annual industry show underway this week in Louisville, Ky.
The 2011 Jamboree DSL and Tioga DSL are Fleetwood’s premium offering in this category, while the 2011 Jamboree Sport DSL and Tioga Ranger DSL models are tailored to the more value-priced area of the spectrum, according to a news release.
“Our dealer network was the main driver of our decision to enter the Class C diesel market,” said John Draheim, CEO of Fleetwood RV. “At our National Dealer Meeting this past August, we asked dealers for their feedback on product concepts designed to compete in this segment. Three months later, we are introducing the 2011 Jamboree DSL and Tioga DSL lines, which should bring new retail opportunities to our dealer channel.”
- Highlights on the 2011 Jamboree DSL and Tioga DSL include a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 6-cylinder, 3.0L turbo-diesel engine for increased fuel-efficiency, Ultraleather sofa booth dinette, pass-through storage, contemporary styling, aluminum luggage doors and standard DuPont full-body paint.
- Highlights on the 2011 Jamboree Sport DSL and Tioga Ranger DSL include a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 6-cylinder, 3.0L turbo-diesel engine for increased fuel-efficiency, glazed hardwood cabinet doors and Fleetwood’s patented Vacubond construction.
