Bridgeview Manufacturing LLC, a predominately recreational park trailer manufacturer, has introduced an extensive lineup of Harbor View travel trailers equipped for the handicapped in addition to a conventional product line that debuted during the summer. ”There’s a definite niche for mobility RVs and nobody’s filling it,” said Jim Brown, president and CEO of the Elkhart, Ind., manufacturer. The company expects the trailers to be popular with families that have children with physical handicaps. ”It’s a market that is going to define itself,” Brown said. The steel-reinforced wood-and-aluminum Harbor View mobility trailers are available in nine 26- to 36-foot floorplans each with wheelchair lifts, 36-inch hallways and large bathrooms with showers. MSRP: $40,000.

On trailers for the disabled, my daughter just finished designing a used trailer for her husband that does exactly what you are doing. I would like to see floorplans and specs. I am so happy that somebody is thinking about those who cannot get around easily. More power to you. Thank you for thinking of this concept.
