‘Jeopardy!’ is Featuring ‘RVs’ Category Tonight
While the RV community came together in force June 7 at the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum in Elkhart, Ind., to celebrate the industry’s 100th anniversary, the RV Centennial Celebration is much more than a single event. In fact, it continues tonight (Dec. 7) on a nationwide stage as Alex Trebek, host of the popular game show “Jeopardy!” quizzes contestants about the 100 years of RVing.
After convincing the show’s producers to include RVing as a category, the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) and its marketing communications agency Barton Gilanelli & Associates worked with the show to develop questions and answers as well as coordinating a video shoot at the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum this past summer.
“This is an industry ‘first’ and we’re very excited to have our history featured in a stand-alone category,” said Gary LaBella, RVIA vice president and chief marketing officer.
