Amy Duthie Atwood Mobile Products LLC has announced the appointment of Amy Duthie to the sales team as RV sales manager. Duthie is a veteran of the RV industry with over 12 years experience in sales and product management for several leading RV manufacturers. Thor Stock Hits 52-Week High on Wall Street

Shares of Thor Industries Inc. hit a new 52-week high today (Jan. 31) in trading on Wall Street. The stock traded as high as $37.45 during mid-day trading and last traded at $36.78. Monaco RV LLC concluded a successful presentation of its latest models by each of its three brands, Monaco, Holiday Rambler and R-Vision, at the 26th Anniversary 2011 Florida RV SuperShow held Jan. 11-16 in Tampa, Fla., according to a news release. RVDA Starts Van Pelt Family Memorial Fund

Past Chairman of the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) Board of Directors Fran Van Pelt and her husband, Rich, recently lost their son, Raymond Van Pelt, in a tragic accident on Christmas Eve. Peter and Lynn Albano of American RV in Olive Branch, Miss., provided a donation to the RV Learning Center to start a memorial fund in honor of Raymond, according to an RVDA news release. Survey: Americans Expect $4/Gal. Gas by July

Americans are having a little more fun behind the wheel these days. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 43% of Adults now view driving a car as something they really enjoy as opposed to just something they have to do to get from one place to another. That’s up from 39% in a survey a year ago, according to a news release.
