Fan-Tastic Vent announces with regret the retirement of Terry Smeltzer from its professional sales staff effective Jan. 11.
A 45-year veteran in the RV industry, Smeltzer represented Fan-Tastic Vent in the Indiana area for over 12 years with friendship, accountability, integrity and knowledge, according to a company news release.
Larry Milks, vice president of operations, stated, “Terry has been a key ingredient in our formula for success as the RV industry leader in air exchange systems. We hope that Terry and his wife, Jessie, have lots of fun and enjoyment in retirement for many years to come.
Smeltzer started his career in the industry working for four years at Travel Queen coaches and then moved on to a 21-year stay at Champion Home Builders Corp. as sales manager.
Eight years were then served as Chevrolet motor division sales manager at the Tiarra Motor Coach Co.
Terry is spending his winter with family and playing golf in Florida. He will return to Breman, Ind., in the spring for more of the same.
“Thank you to all the OEMs and employees at Fan-Tastic Vent who have made my life easier and more fulfilling,” Smeltzer said.
