Winnebago Industries Inc. today (Feb. 28) announced Douglas Berhow has been named to the position of Stitchcraft plant manager for Winnebago Industries.
In his new position, Berhow is responsible for the Stitchcraft facility, which manufactures furniture and softgoods, such as window treatments and bedspreads for Winnebago Industries products, according to a news release.
Berhow, 51, is a 33-year veteran of Forest City, Iowa-based Winnebago Industries. Most recently he served as a motorhome production manager. Previously, he served as quality control supervisor and technician. He also served as a service district manager for the North West portion of the United States and Western Canada.
A native of Thompson, Iowa, Berhow is a graduate of Thompson High School and attended Waldorf College, Forest City, and North Iowa Area Community College, Mason City, Ia. He resides in Forest City.
Berhow is a former fire chief and training officer of the Thompson Volunteer Fire Department and past president of the Winnebago County Firemen’s Association.
