A new $15-million coastal campground will open Friday (July 1) at Crystal Cove State Park in California’s Orange County, but don’t get your hopes up for a stay over the Fourth of July. CNBC has released its 2011 America’s Top States For Business list, and Indiana is moving up, according to a report on Inside INdiana Business. The state, which is home to the RV industry’s manufacturing hub, ranks in the top 10 in two categories, including the cost of doing business and business friendliness. Summer days spent lounging lakeside at Lake Sammamish State Park or hiking in Tiger Mountain State Forest start to cost most users a fee soon, according to a report in the Issaquah Press. Obama Suggests 56.2 mpg for Fleets by 2025

The Obama administration is suggesting a fuel-economy standard of 56.2 miles per gallon average for an automaker’s whole fleet by 2025, boosting the price of a new vehicle at least $2,100, the government calculates. Year-Over-Year May Shipments Jump 13.1%

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) reported that wholesale shipments to retailers of all RVs were reported at 27,600 units May, up 12.2% over last month and up 13.1% over this same month last year. Towable RVs provided the improvements while motorhomes held even with year-ago totals.
