Riverside Launches Consumer-Oriented Website
Peru, Ind,-based Riverside Travel Trailer Inc. has launched a new website thatprovides prospective retail purchasers with several “industry-first” features, according to a press release.
“We have incorporated a ‘virtual factory tour’ that shows step-by-step how traditionally manufactured trailers are assembled,” said Mark Gerber, vice president of sales and finance. “This slide tour – available for viewing in either a narrated video or pdf slide show that enables you to spend more time on each slide – is an industry first and, by the number of views, apparently fills an informational need.”
The website also features floorplans that include links to photos, a “text a question” feature where prospective customers can send a question and receive back a text message response, model specific videos on most floorplans and a product comparison that shows how Riverside’s products stack up.
“Our goal with the new website and its continual development is to educate the end customer on our products and features and then provide the dealer with ‘presold’ retail leads that will result in increased dealer margins and quicker sales” said Gerber.
