Seven Elected to Three-Year Terms on RVIA Board

Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) members elected five incumbents and two new board members in the association’s recently concluded annual elections.
William Osborne, vice president, custom products, Navistar Inc., and Lyle Reed, executive director and chairman, Foretravel Motorcoach, were newly elected to three-year terms as manufacturer representatives. Meanwhile, Derald Bontrager, president, Jayco Inc., Doug Gaeddert, general manager, Forest River Inc., and, Bob Olson, chairman, Winnebago Industries Inc., were re-elected to their manufacturer seats for three-year terms.
In the supplier election, John Regan, chairman, Fabric Services, and Doug Whyte, president, Dometic Corp., were also re-elected to their seats for three-year terms.
The RVIA board elections took place Aug. 1-25 with official representatives from member companies casting their votes electronically. Those elected to the board will begin serving their terms on Oct. 1, 2011.
The RVIA board has the highest level of authority in the association’s organizational structure and is responsible for association matters on a broad policy basis.
