Howe, Ind.-based Cruiser RV LLC today (Sept. 12) announced two key promotions within its organization. According to a press release, Jeff Fought has been promoted to president while Jon Stallman will move into the vice president of operations role. The promotions come on the heels of the company’s announcement last week to expand to a second 140,000-square-foot production facility in nearby LaGrange.
“I am extremely excited about the new position, and more importantly the building acquisition,” stated Stallman. “Over the last few years we have brought more fabrication in-house and increased other operational efficiencies with the end result being a better constructed and more affordable product for our consumer. This building expansion is a testament not only to the growth and success of our various product offerings, but also to our team of employees who construct them.”
Stallman has been with the company since 2005, most recently serving as general manager. He’ll be responsible for overseeing manufacturing, purchasing and overall daily operations at both the Howe and LaGrange plants.
“I can think of no better person for this position than Jon,” said Fought. “With his background in engineering, he possesses a unique skill set in that he understands everything about our product from the chassis up, along with the ability to manage people and see the big picture on the direction of our growing company.”
The company is making these promotions effective immediately and plans an aggressive strategy for the near future. “We’ve gained some strategic advantages over the past three years as we managed through a difficult economic climate, and now we plan to use what we’ve learned to take our company to the next level,” added Fought.
