The 10th annual North Carolina Fall RV Show & Sale held this past weekend in Greensboro provided an opportunity for attendees to shop end-of-season sales prices and plan for future RV trips, according to event organizers.

“Fall is a fantastic time for families to camp in the mountains and at the beaches in North Carolina, and the level of interest in RVing was at an all-time high this past weekend,” said Jeff Haughton, vice president and eastern region manager of GS Events, in a press release. “Attendees were pleased to see an exciting array of RV and camping accessories, parts and supplies, and campgrounds from across the country, as well as over 200 new and used RVs on display from Camping World – along with a complete RV retail shopping experience at Camping World’s outdoor RV store.”

According to Alan Good, general manager for Camping World of Statesville, the show was a great success.

“The 2011 North Carolina Fall RV Show & Sale clearly exceeded our goals, not only in record sales and attendance but also in the relationships we established with the show’s attendees,” he said. “Camping World eagerly awaits our return to Greensboro in January 2012, and plans are already under way to make the next show bigger and better than ever.”

Josh Erickson, Southeast vice president of Camping World, noted, “Camping World was excited to support the North Carolina Fall RV Show & Sale, and we were richly rewarded for our investment in this show. We look forward to continued growth in our Greensboro customer base.”

Leading RV Expert and author of “The RV Handbook,” Dave Solberg, was also on hand, conducting daily seminars to first-time RVers on the wide variety of product available while helping them to make the best product decisions for their needs. Additionally, he gave instruction on topics such as electrical systems, generators and refrigerators.
