Sky River RV will host the Bay Area RV Expo Jan. 6-16 at its new dealership in Dublin Calif., according to a press release. “The Expo will be the Northern California premiere of the new Vantage travel trailer from Keystone as well as the new Warrior toy haulers from Extreme Warrior,” said Scott Thorpe, managing partner of Sky River RV. FTC Ups Scrutiny on Dealer Advertising for 2012

Dealers should review their advertising immediately to ensure it includes all federally-mandated credit terms and disclosures. According to a news release from the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Assocation (RVDA), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has stated it plans to more vigorously prosecute deceptive dealership advertising this year while it reviews what, if any, additional regulations are needed. Stand-Alone Heat System Targeting Park Models

RV Comfort Systems has introduced a new stand-alone, all-electric forced air heating system for park model trailers. RV Shipments Show 22% YOY Gain in November

Shipments to retailers in November this year were 16,300 units, up 21.6% from this same month last year. On a seasonally adjusted annual rate basis, November’s total represented shipments of more than 290,000 units, an increase of 13.8% over the previous month and ahead of November last year by 22.5%.
