RV wholesale shipments to retailers were reported at 18,700 units in the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) January 2012 survey of manufacturers, 5.1% greater than the total shipped during this same month last year. Auto sales are growing so fast that Detroit can barely keep up. The Associated Press reported that three years after the U.S. auto industry nearly collapsed, sales of cars and trucks are surging.
