The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) Standards Department is reporting that efforts to harmonize the United States’ NFPA 1192 RV standard and Canada’s CSA Z240 RV standard are progressing toward a uniform approach. VCA’s Efforts Successful in Legislation Session

The Virginia Campground Association (VCA) spearheaded lobbying for two new pieces of legislation that will benefit the campground industry, according to a press release. The recent legislative session concluded March 14. Report: Consumer Spending Rises, Income Flat

U.S. consumers boosted their spending in February by the most in seven months. But Americans’ income barely grew, and the saving rate fell to its lowest point in more than two years. The Associated Press reported that the Commerce Department said Friday (March 30)that consumer spending rose 0.8% last month. Income grew 0.2%, matching January’s weak increase.
