Bill Would Allow First-Ever Fee for Illinois Parks

Visitors to Illinois state parks would face admission fees for the first time under legislation the Illinois House passed Monday (March 27). As reported by the Chicago Tribune, the bill would allow the state to charge annual fees for vehicle stickers for park entry, as well as daily admission fees for pedestrians or drivers without annual passes. Sewiepig Provides Secure RV Waste Connection

E49 Enterprises has introduced the Sewiepig to aid in the discharge of RV waste. According to a press release, the product features a plastic container shaped like a pig that fits securely over any discharge hose. It has a removable cap on the tail to allow the tank to be filled with water for weight. Once filled with water, the Sewiepig fits over the RV hose where it meets the campground hookup to provide a secure connection. Ford Motor Co. is announcing today (March 27) that not only is it going to bring its turbocharged EcoBoost engine to its new line of commercial vans, but a diesel engine as well. When Ray Aljets built the campground that later became the Sioux Falls, S.D., Jellystone Park Camp-Resort 23 years ago, most of his business was east-west traffic, particularly families from Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis who traveled westward to visit the Black Hills.
