Junction City, Ore.-based dealer Guaranty RV Super Centers will be providing RV rentals during the June 21-July 1 Eugene Olympic Trials to help address a housing shortage in the area.
“We a saw a need in the community and knew we needed to find a way to fill it,” said Shannon Nill, owner of Guaranty, in a press release. “The Olympic Trials is about more than athletics. It’s about coming together as communities and families to watch dreams come true. When we learned that the local hotels and motels were completely booked as far out as Cottage Grove and McKenzie River, we decided we would find a way to not only provide adequate housing, but to also provide the element of adventure.”
RVs equipped with generators, propane and water, etc., allow Olympic Trials “campers” to have all the amenities of home while visiting Eugene. For those who currently own an RV, Guaranty will also offer camping spots.
“We’re committed to providing the total RV experience to whomever we serve,” said Cheri Fiducia with Guaranty RV rentals. “But imagine how exciting it will be in the case of the Olympic Trials. People who thought rooms were sold out will find a morethan comfortable accommodations within walking distance; they’ll find a family adventure.”
