RVDA of Alberta Sets $25K Cancer Care Goal
To celebrate their 25th Anniversary Golf Tournament on Aug. 8, the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Alberta is aspiring to raise $25,000 for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation (KCCF) of Alberta.
The Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta is passionately dedicated to helping young people and their families affected by cancer survive and thrive in body, mind and spirit, according to a news release. Their programs are uniquely designed to meet the needs of the whole family at each stage in the cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. The foundation is committed to changing the course of children’s cancer by providing programs and funding in four key areas: camp, research, hospital programs and scholarship.
The RVDA is honored to have the support of their members and business partners in this effort to raise the $25,000 for the KCCF. One member, Leslie Pringle of Eagle Lake RV Resort, will be “celebrating” the anniversary by donating her long hair to Hair Angels for Kids, finishing with a complete head shave at the tournament.
To help reach the $25,000 goal, donations for this event can be made by contacting the RVDA of Alberta or at the Kids Cancer Care Foundation website https://secure.csfm.com/kidscancer/donate/general/index.php. Once on the site, please fill out the form and choose “THIRD PARTY INITIATIVE” “RVDA”. For more information, please contact Wanda Steele at the RVDA of Alberta at (780) 455-8562 or email@example.com.
