Camping World Buying Long View Tampa Store

Camping World Inc. today (June 29) announced that it has acquired Long View RV Superstores, an existing RV dealership in the Tampa, Fla., area. According to a press release, the acquisition closing is scheduled for July. Camping World of Tampa is located on I-4 just minutes from the current Camping World location. Motorhome and RV owners in Port Moody, British Columbia, are getting a reprieve this summer, and it has nothing to do with the cool weather. Coquitlam Now reported that after enacting a bylaw earlier this year that put restrictions on the length of time large vehicles could be parked on city streets, politicians have voted to strike down a portion of the new rules. Holiday travel is expected to increase during the July 4 period compared with last year, but the mid-week holiday is likely to result in more spread-out travel plans that could ease congestion.
