Millennium Luxury Coaches has made its luxury Prevost conversions more accessible to the Canadian market by satisfying the compliance requirements for bringing product into the country.

According to a press release, after months of rigorous testing and documentation, Millennium is now pre-approved to be in compliance with all applicable Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) and meets all requirements of Canada’s Motor Vehicle Safety Act (MVSA). As a result, the Sanford, Fla.-based company has been added to Transport Canada’s “List of Vehicles Admissible from the United States.”

“We are excited to be able to offer our world class product to Canadian citizens,” said Nelson Figueroa, president of Millennium Luxury Coaches. “This has been a long time coming and our team worked very hard with Canadian officials to assure compliance.”

With pre-clearance, Millennium said it has simplified the importation process for customers before and after vehicles cross the border. For more information call Millennium Luxury Coaches at (877) 322-0190 or e-mail info@millenniumluxurycoaches.com.

It amazes me that a quality builder like Millennium makes a statement like… “This has been a long time coming and our team worked very hard with Canadian officials to assure compliance.”…while Gulfstream, Thor and Forest River, etc are able to ship product into Canada.

Seems like our Canadian friends may have two standards for acceptance.
