EarthCruiser Expedition Vehicle

Australian overland vehicle specialist EarthCruiser Expedition Vehicles announced the launch of its OutBack Explorer and Adventurer 4×4 and 4×2 Fuso-based expedition grade campers in the United States, according to a report by The RVing Examiner.

Based on the Japanese Mitsubishi FUSO Canter 6-speed automatic FG 4×4 chassis – with a 14,050 GVWR – the rugged rigs offer users exceptional reliability and class leading fuel economy courtesy of the DOHC, 4-cylinder diesel engine. The EarthCruisers also offer exceptional off-the-grid overlanding and dry camping capability.

Designed in Queensland and rigorously tested in the Aussie outback these expedition vehicles will be manufactured in the U.S. by HOST Industries of Bend Oregon. Priced at $135,000 and up, the campers can be retrofitted to an existing chassis – as a DIY option – or provided as a removable module.
