RVers from all over the U.S. and Canada are marking their calendars for the 2013 show schedule in Quartzsite, Ariz.

This tiny desert hamlet bursts at the seams each January when tens of thousands of RVs converge on Quartzsite for the huge rock and mineral shows, swap meets and flea markets that take place there each winter, according to a news release.

One of the largest and most popular venues is the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show. Now in their 30th year, this huge show takes place in the “BIG TENT”, a half-mile south of Interstate 10 on State Highway 95. This year the dates for the 30th Annual Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show are Jan. 19-27.

There is no charge for admission or parking at this spectacular event that is now billed as “The Largest Consumer Attended RV Show in the U.S.”

The attendance for the 2011 show was estimated at well over 100,000 with over 400 exhibits inside and around, the 70,000-square-foot, fully carpeted structure that included the “who’s who” of the RV industry.

Promoter Kenny King states, “If you’re looking for anything related to RVs, you’ll find it at the RV show in Quartzsite.” There will be hundreds new and used RVs on display in 2013 and over a dozen service bays will be offering immediate installation, repairs and service on many of the items that will be exhibited at the show.

In 2012 there were numerous tourism related exhibits from the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe as well as representatives from dozens of the nation’s finest RV resorts and campgrounds. In addition, there were many “workamper” recruiters from national parks and private campgrounds in attendance.

“The number and diversity of exhibitors that you’ll find at the Quartzsite RV Show will not be found at any other show of this type in the United States,” King said.
