Hickory Springs Manufacturing Co. has introduced PosiTrac Quad, the newest addition to the PosiTrac line of RV radius entry steps manufactured by Hickory Springs and distributed by JSI.

Like other products in the PosiTrac line, the quad step plate features a unique, non-slip diamond-groove design – the first of its kind in the industry – that provides extra traction and enhances slip resistance throughout the life of the steps, according to a news release. Unlike steps that use grip tape, which wears and eventually peels away, steps that employ the PosiTrac solution provide a long-term remedy to rain, sleet, snow and other slip hazards.

Just as important, the product’s innovative four-step design fits in the same space as three-step entry steps, making it easy to replace existing steps with the quad step. The result is a reduced rise and a bottom step that is closer to the ground for easier access to the RV.

Made from dent-resistant, heavy-gauge American steel, the PosiTrac Quad features the same rigidity and double-lock system common to all PosiTrac radius entry steps.

“As we worked on the design of the four-step product, we made it a point to retain the functionality that has made our entry steps so popular in the past,” explained Mickey Thomas, director of sales at JSI. “That means the Quad also incorporates the same pivotal action that opens and closes easily for fingertip operation, and the step’s powder-coat finish has been salt-spray tested to ensure a superior, long-lasting finish when compared to other products in the market.”

A number of distribution centers located around the country ensure the supply chain consistency important to JSI customers. Added Thomas, “We offer the capacity and are uniquely positioned to supply a high-quality, American-made product on time, whenever and wherever it is needed.”
