In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the National RV Trade Show, the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau (LCVB) and the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) will celebrate with cake and beverages for show attendees on the afternoon of Nov. 28.
According to a press release, the centerpiece of the celebration will be a cake baked in the form of an early 1960s RV. This cake will be displayed throughout the show in the South Wing Lobby C foyer.
A cake-cutting ceremony, featuring brief remarks from RVIA President Richard Coon,, Jim Wood from the LCVB, and Harold Workman of the KEC will take place at 2 p.m. Following the cake-cutting ceremony, cupcakes featuring a special “50” logo and beverages will be served to show attendees in the South Wing Lobby C Foyer and the restaurant area in the West Wing.
This is RVIA’s 50th National RV Trade Show – 49 of the 50 have been held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
