Livin’ Lite’s Axxess Shines at Louisville Show
Eye catching is the best way to describe Livin’ Lite Recreational Vehicle LLC’s new Axxess toy hauler travel trailer shown recently at the 50th Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., that features mirror-like polished aluminum sidewalls. Available in 22- and 26-foot floorplans with a 20-footer on the drawing board, the all-aluminum Axxess’ chrome-look sidewalls are contrasted by black diamond plate on the aerodynamic front end and on the rear. ”It’s a travel trailer that can be towed by light-duty trucks or smaller SUVs. That’s our market,” said Livin’ Lite President Scott Tuttle. With a base dry weight of 3,150 pounds, Axxess features a tubular aluminum frame, 7-foot 3-inch ceilings, an 18-foot garage with an 84-inch ramp door, Azdel vinyl interior sidewalls, aluminum cabinets and composite countertops. MSRPs start at $29,999. Also at Livin’ Lite’s display for the first time was a JEEP-branded camping trailer based on Livin’ Lite’s Quicksilver 6.0 folding camping trailer. Previously, the Livin’ Lite trail-rated JEEP popup had been sold only by Chrysler dealers. Built specifically for JEEP owners, the Livin’ Lite JEEP is assembled with JEEP OEM parts that include fenders, bumpers, latches and trailer lights.
