Elmira, Ore.-based Source Engineering Inc., developers of motorhome chassis enhancement and repair parts, has introduced the new Platinum Series tuned Bilstein shocks for Navistar RV’s Monaco Roadmaster chassis. According to a press release, the Platinum Series is available for both new and late model Roadmaster chassis.
The Platinum Series is available in both 46mm and the new super 60mm piston size, which offers ultimate comfort and performance. Source Engineering said it is the only company to offer the Super 60mm shocks that are precisely tuned for the unique considerations of the recreational vehicle market.
“Source Engineering developed the Platinum Series exclusively for each individual motorhome chassis, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach,” said Jim Walls of Source Engineering. “Custom-tuned shock absorbers are essential for RV applications since they are developed for a specific chassis. Engineering for an RV chassis requires vastly different considerations than other vehicles, and Source Engineering has extensive experience with this specific market niche.”
While currently available only for Navistar RV’s Roadmaster chassis, Source Engineering is developing its Platinum Series line for additional chassis applications. For complete application and pricing information call (541) 935-0308.
