Evergreen Touting Sun Valley on Show Circuit

Along with its new Bay Hill fifth-wheel series, Middlebury, Ind.-based EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC is aggressively promoting its Sun Valley travel trailer on its new website (www.GoEverGreenRV.com) and at this winter’s retail shows. The 27- to 36-foot Sun Valley lineup sports aluminum frames and vacuum-laminated fiberglass sidewalls, much like Evergreen’s other products, and targets a relatively affordable $27,000-$39,000 price point situated between the company’s existing i-Go and Ever-Lite lines. Available in 16 floorplans, the Sun Valley wouldn’t likely qualify as an “entry level” towable, coming as it does with solid wood cabinets, lift-up beds, TPO roofs, fully enclosed underbellies, aluminum wheels, power awnings and jacks, and multiple bunk bed floorplans. “It gets us more competitive with the mainstream of the industry,” said Doug Lantz, vice president of sales and marketing, standing in a triple-slide, 36-footer featuring an island kitchen and a big rear bunk room during FRVTA’s Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa. “This allows us to focus more on bunk beds. The Ever-Lite was a relatively expensive trailer and it really took us out of the bunk business.”
