A webinar on Federal Motor Vehicle regulations and standards will be conducted April 17 at 3 p.m. (Eastern time).
According to a press release, subjects covered will include: federal standards on lighting, tires and rims; cargo carrying capacity; consumer information requirements; safety defect procedures, including reporting, recalls, and EWR; and various administrative responsibilities, including registration with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and record keeping.
Those recommended to attend include RV manufacturers and suppliers, engineers, lawyers and anyone with compliance responsibilities. Participants will gain information on how NHTSA’s rules, performance requirements and processes of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration affect products.
The webinar will be presented by former NHTSA directors Bob Krauss and Richard Boyd and may qualify for continuing legal education credits (CLE).
