RVDA Touting ‘Vendor Training +plus’ Benefits

Industry suppliers are encouraged to take advantage of a new way to reach RV dealership staff for extended product and service training through Vendor Training +plus. According to a press release, the day-and-a-half-long program will be launched at the 2013 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4 in Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
This new education program, set for on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, allows industry suppliers the time and space to train dealership personnel in the use and applications of their products and technology — in one place at one time. Because the convention/expo is the only education event of the year exclusively for dealers and their staff, this represents a unique opportunity for suppliers to spend more time with the key staff who use their products in their dealerships.
The theme of this year’s Convention/Expo is “Education: Your Competitive Advantage” and “this annual event is the best chance to get your business in front of more dealership personnel at one time,” the release stated.
The Convention/Expo Committee chaired by John McCluskey is advancing the Vendor Training +plus concept, because dealers want new ways to connect with suppliers who support their industry. “Vendor Training +plus gives our business partners in the industry a powerful new way to connect with hundreds of key dealership staff who will be in Las Vegas for our meeting,” McCluskey said. “Our dealer members are excited about this new program.”
Vendor Training +plus is designed to allow suppliers to the RV industry the opportunity to connect with the increased numbers of dealership personnel who will be meeting in Las Vegas. Scheduled forMonday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1, Vendor Training +plus is a chance for exhibitors, associate members and other business partners to step up their involvement in the education sessions by providing half-day or full-day training options. Each session will provide seating for up to 100 people and include: flip chart, LCD projector, screen, and lavaliere microphone.
Vendor Training +plus will be heavily promoted through RV Executive Today, via email, the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) website, print, telemarketing, social media and other campaigns resulting in broad exposure for this new educational component of the Convention.
