A campground owner in Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada, will not allow provincial property tax assessors onto her property until she gets more information about the government’s plans to tax large trailers. Consumer sentiment improved in late June, ending the month close to a near six-year high set in May, as optimism among higher-income families rose to its strongest level in six years, a survey released on Friday (June 28) showed. In a conference call today (June 27) with media and investors, Winnebago Industries Inc. expounded on a stellar fiscal third quarter that included a 94% increase in year-over-year earnings, a 40% rise in sales and the highest shipment total in five years. Reduced Seal Fee Will Go Into Effect on July 1

Beginning July 1, the cost of the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) seal for manufacturer members will decrease from $17 to $16 each. The RVIA board authorized the seal price reduction at its meeting on March 4 during the association’s Annual Meeting. The new $16 seal fee will apply to all member manufacturer vehicle types. Middlebury, Ind.-based EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC announced that its DuraLite Double Welded Aluminum Structure is now standard equipment incorporated into the production processes on its Ever-Lite, i-Go Lite, Sun Valley and Ascend travel trailers.
