EverGreen’s DuraLite Structure Adds Strength
Middlebury, Ind.-based EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC announced that its DuraLite Double Welded Aluminum Structure is now standard equipment incorporated into the production processes on its Ever-Lite, i-Go Lite, Sun Valley and Ascend travel trailers.
According to a press release, the structure is used in the walls, floors, roofs and slideout rooms of each trailer. An animated video of the actual DuraLite structure is available on the EverGreen You Tube site.
The company introduced the DuraLite Double Welded Aluminum Structure when it first entered the RV industry in 2008 with its flagship, all-composite Ever-Lite travel trailers. Today, EverGreen combines the DuraLite Double Welded Aluminum Structure with its proprietary vacuum lamination processes to produce a lighter, more durable RV. The company said that its Ever-Lite travel trailers remain the only recreational vehicles on the market with the DuraLite frame, vacuum lamination and full ComposiTek construction.
“Our unique combination of the DuraLite Double Welded Aluminum Structure and vacuum lamination result in an RV that is as tough as it is lightweight,” said EverGreen President Mark Boessler.
Features of the DuraLite Double Welded Aluminum Structure include:
• A true full-aluminum frame: DuraLite structure has more aluminum studs, braces, rafters, joists and headers to build a stronger trailer. All openings, doors, windows and baggage doors are fully aluminum framed for structural integrity.
• Double Welded Engineering: Each aluminum strut is double welded into place from both sides to form the wall, floor, roof or slideout frame of the structure. Custom-cut, high-density polystyrene block foam fills all openings for superior insulation qualities.
