Ron Potts’ Ohio-based recreational vehicle dealership is decorated with pictures his clients have taken on vacation. According to a report in the Newark Advocate, people send them in from places they’ve camped all across the country.
“Camping makes more memories than staying in a hotel,” Potts said. “And really, we sell that lifestyle for families.”
When he opened Ron Potts’ RVs in Johnstown in 2007, he knew that he would be helping people have a lot of fun. “You make memories for families,” he said. “It makes an impact on their lives.”
A Johnstown native, Potts spent part of his career selling water fountains and coolers at Oasis International in Columbus. He moved up in the ranks but realized the job wasn’t his true calling.
Sixteen years ago, a friend in Newark asked him to work in his RV business and Potts found his niche.
